Nail Shape & Size Guide
Embark on a journey to find your perfect fit—each nail set from Lune by Zoë is crafted to mirror the unique contours of your nails. Whether you choose one of our standard shapes or opt for a custom fit, this guide will illuminate every phase.
We offer a standard selection of five sculpted press-on nail shapes, designed to suit every style and mood:
Coffin, Stiletto, Oval, Almond, and Square — from soft elegance to bold edges, each shape brings its own energy to your ritual.
Each nail shape generally comes in three main lengths: short, medium, and long.
Please note: length availability may vary depending on the set and current stock.
We offer four standard nail sizes to suit a range of natural nail plate widths. — XS, S, M, L.
For the most precise fit, we highly recommend selecting Custom Size.
If you choose Custom, please include your measurements in millimetres, from thumb to pinky for each hand, using the Special Instructions box at checkout.
Example:
Right hand: Thumb – 15mm, Fore – 13mm, Middle – 14mm, Ring – 12mm, Pinky – 10mm
Left hand: Thumb – 15mm, Fore – 13mm, Middle – 14mm, Ring – 12mm, Pinky – 10mm
Please note: While most shapes go as small as 9mm, Almond starts at 8.5mm and 9.5mm due to its sculpted taper. Please let us know via the special instructions at check-out which size is best.
How to Measure Your Nail Size
Finding your perfect fit is a small ritual of its own. With just a bit of tape and a steady hand, you can ensure each press-on hugs your natural nail with comfort and precision. Follow the steps below to size your nails like a pro.
1. Prepare
Gather your tools: a ruler (in millimetres), a pen or marker, and 10 small strips of tape (transparent or masking tape works best).
2. Apply the Tape
Place the tape across the widest part of your natural nail plate, making sure it lies flat and smooth with no folds or bubbles.
3. Mark the Width
Using the pen, mark where each side of your nail ends — from edge to edge. Be precise, this is your perfect-fit spell.
4. Remove & Measure
Carefully peel off the tape and place it flat on a surface. Measure the distance between your two marks in millimetres (mm).
Write it down from thumb to pinky for each hand — every finger matters.
Once you have your measurements, select “Custom Size” when ordering and include these in the Special Instructions section at checkout.
